What Rondom keeps.

Rondom turns your photos into a 3D model. To do that it has to hold your photos for a while and your models for as long as you want them. This page says exactly what is kept, where, and how to make it go away.

Your account

• When you sign in with Google, Rondom stores your email address, your name and your profile picture, so the app can show who is signed in and the owner can manage accounts. Nothing else from your Google account is read.
• A connect code signs one phone in as you. Anyone holding a code can act as that account, so codes are shown once and can be ended by the owner at any time.

Your scans

• The photos you upload are stored on Rondom's server only long enough to build the model. After your account's keep-days (14 by default) the raw photos are deleted; the model, its thumbnail and the printable file stay until you delete the scan.
• Each photo may carry the compass heading and a sharpness score the app measured when it was taken; those help the reconstruction and are deleted with the photos.
• Reconstruction runs on machines Rondom controls, which download the photos, build the model and send it back. They keep nothing once the job is done.
• Deleting a scan in the app removes its photos and model for good.

Sharing and connections

• A model is private to your account unless you make a share link. Anyone with the link can view and download that one model until you stop sharing it.
• If you connect Onshape, your API keys are stored encrypted and used only to create a document in your own Onshape account when you ask. You can forget them at any time from your account panel.

What Rondom does not do

• No advertising, no tracking, no analytics beyond the server's own logs, which record requests for a few days to keep the service running.
• Your photos and models are not used to train anything and are not sold or shared.
